My 7D was sold today. It has been my constant companion over the past six months on 365 and I'm sorry to see it go - it will always be the camera that got me into photography. Oh well, on to the new....
@gillg@sturnus@eosman Gonna take the plunge (and remortgage the house) and go full frame with the 5D3. But, as I said, I'll always remember the 7D - I'm using a 600D at the moment and that's hard work compared to the 7D.
Wow!!! Will be sooo interested to hear how you get on... That will prob be my next one, but keeping 7d for at least a year... Should prob improve photography skills before I take plunge, too!! Very excited for you!! Asked recently about trade in price for 7d and they said £350 which was bit rubbish!
@gillg You can do better than that if you sell privately, Gill. I assume that was a camera store? They have their own mark-up to think of. They sell at about £650 to £700 so you should be able to make something a bit south of that.
@snaggy Enjoy the new full-frame when you get it. I don't quite understand the differences, but I'm sure, one day I will.
