Black Tailed Godwits in Pagham, West Sussex

I came across these Black Tailed Godwits in the pond next to Pagham harbour. One person said he has never seen this many together there.
Your side of the world has so many different species of birds I have never seen before! Awesome capture!

Those aren't curlews. Curlews are mainly brown with a long curved bill (like this - http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-06-07). I think these are black tailed godwits, but I'm not certain.

@wendyfrost Yes I noticed that. Thank you Wendy.

@roachling Ok thank you Louise I will amend that. First I was told they were Oystercatchers but they don't look like those.
July 30th, 2014
No, oystercatchers are black and white with all orange beaks. I'd google black tailed godwits to check first as I could be wrong, I just know they're not curlews! It's a lovely capture of them.

@roachling Thank you Louise. Yes you are correct. I also checked on Google with Pagham harbour and came up with photos of what you said. Thank you for your help.
