Today our walk took us across this field of maize stubble .I liked the play of light and shade on the stalks.

I agree with everyone else. I like this too. I always enjoy the blue shadows on snow. Over here, the corn stubble gets turned under in the fall. I kind of wish farmers would leave it up over winter. It makes such interesting texture.

It's amazing what different people see in a picture and interesting to fnd out. reminds me of not an easy walk through the fields.
