Spanish chestnut tree. by snowy

Spanish chestnut tree.

These trees at Croft castle must be hundreds of years old. I like the twisted knarled trunk and branches . The light was good giving a dappled sunlight on the trunk etc

Beautiful lighting! That is a great tree!

Gorgeous shot Diana, I am sure I took the same tree in it's winter clothing a few months back - there certainly are some fabulous trees at Croft.

@hwy61 Your right about Snowy he could go through the gate. we try to train him to wait at gate ways, It doesn't always work .And no it isn't the entrance to our property I wish it was , its the park land at Croft castle which is just a few miles away from were we live.btw I seem to have developed a knack of pressing delete instead of reply so sorry I have deleted your comment again Karen
