My grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf , so it stood ninety , years on the floor. It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born, and was always his treasure and pride.But it stopped short never to go again when the old man died,Ninety year without slumbering (tick,tick.tick,tick,, Itstopped short never to go again , when the old man died.Our grandfather clock has stood at the bottom of the stairs in this house for 23yrs.

Very cool! Great clock. I love grandfather clocks. I have one myself. They are fun (when they work, mine has stopped - note to self, must get it repaired).
