This is the hand painted mural that you see before you open the door to Vincente's gallery. He painted it himself and I love that it is exposed to the elements 365 days a year, as it has acquired a fine patina of age.
There is currently an issue in the Tulum artist community regarding art, sculpture and jewelry being sold as being "Made in Mexico" when it really is not. Vincente is at the head of this campaign for honesty in art and has added some signs to warn patrons and customers to beware of fakes.
