After lunch, we all piled in the SUV and with our wonderful tour guide Laura at the helm, toured some of the sights of Southern Vermont. We stopped near the top of Hogback Mountain in the town of Marlboro. What a great name for a mountain. It was overcast, cold and windy up there when we arrived and most people headed into the gift shop to seek shelter. But I braved the outdoors and was rewarded with this view when the sun re-appeared. I hope you enjoy it! Tomorrow, it is on to the apple orchard.
Just love the array of colours and the light that takes the eye into the distance. Beautiful shot...FAV!
P.S. Thank you so much for choosing my shot as your favourite fav of last week, much appreciated :)"
Beautiful scenic view Danny!! I spent some time in New England when I was in the Army. There is a lot of history and beauty in this part of the country. Growing up one thing I remember learning in grade school was Vermont and the Maple syrup industry.
