Here's Chloe's sister, Pudge. Just like yesterday's image, this is SOOC. Pudge is much more cat-like, aloof and reserved than Chloe, she does not meow at the top of her lungs for food around the clock, nor is she a drama queen like her sister, the princess. Pudge is a nice cat.
So this makes two shots in a row that are SOOC, my only two ever on my project. A personal note: before I joined my camera club in 2011, I thought post processing was cheating. My father taught me to carefully compose, set exposure and focus and take the very best shot I could, and that was that. But I now understand that post is a legitimate part of the photographic process and I no longer regard it as cheating (unless you are photoshopping people or things in or out of images, that is photo manipulation). So I usually do a little post on each image, making subtle tweaks to exposure, contrast and sharpness. And the occasional crop. Most of my shots are not cropped, and I always chuckle when I receive comments like "great crop".
I've just found your pages, Danny. We love the cat pictures, sorry you have lost Fred. We too lost two brother cats, Hutch and 'H.B', who were adopted, so we share some of your feelings at your loss. Beautiful photos.
