This path traverses the most beautiful part of the wooded trail in Webb Bridge Park, with a beautiful array of old hardwoods. Shot with my prime lens at f/1.8 and better viewed enlarged.
@seanoneill Thanks, Sean. I had never heard of the Orton effect until you mentioned it. I looked it up, quite interesting. I don't use photoshop and am a novice at post-processing, so I think that is probably past my skill levels at this time..
@soboy5 - try using Befunky Danny or Ribbet.... they are both free editing sites, easy peasy sliders to create all sorts of effects..... if I can do it anyone can, believe me! Love the path meandering through the trees, and that late afternoon sunshine casting those shadows across it!
@soboy5 really like the long shadows. I have used orton a few times on woodland shots. I use befunky which has a free basic online version if you feel like giving it a try.
@gerry@monkeykid Thanks for the FAVs, Gerry and Therese - they are much appreciated. I took this shot at multiple aperture settings, but this one, at f/1.8, was my favorite. I am so glad you both like it!
