The next building on the UGA North Campus tour is New College. Originally built in 1819, New College was destroyed by fire in 1830 and rebuilt between 1830 and 1832. Best viewed large.
lovely shot, Danny - took a great eye to see this one. Both of my nieces, one nephew and two nieces' husbands all graduated from UGA. . . bulldogs everywhere.
Amazing shot. Fav. I love the composition and the crispness of the branches against the building. Love the blocks of colours in the windows too. Really really great
@cimes1@gerry@monkeykid@x1nij@stuckinoz Thank you all very much for the nice comments and for the FAVs. As Ross stated in his comment above, this really was more of a study in design than a photo of a building. This is, by far, my favorite composition of my Athens, GA series (which shall continue for another week or so). Once again, many thanks!
@jgilker Thanks, Jessika - this is one of those captures that turned out even better than I envisioned it. Glad you like it. It is my favorite from the Athens series. @sandier Thanks for the nice comments and for the FAV, Sandie - they are much appreciated!
