"When I think back
On all the crap I learned in high school
It's a wonder
I can think at all
And though my lack of education
Hasn't hurt me none
I can read the writing on the wall
Kodachrome
You give us those nice bright colors
You give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah!
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away ..."
Paul Simon had a huge hit with Kodachrome in 1973 - the song made it to #2 on the charts in America and #1 in Canada.
When matching an image to this wonderful song, it had to have been taken with a Nikon and had to display the vibrant colors that Kodachrome film was known for. This shot of my azaleas, re-edited two days ago, fits the bill. Best viewed large.
