"Little GTO, you're really lookin' fine
Three deuces and a four-speed and a 389
Listen to her tachin' up now, listen to her whine
C'mon and turn it on, wind it up, blow it out GTO
Gonna save all my money and buy a GTO
Get a helmet and a roll bar and I'll be ready to go
Take it out to Pomona and let 'em know
That I'm the coolest thing around
Little buddy, gonna shut you down
When I turn it on, wind it up, blow it out GTO"
Ronny and the Daytonas had a huge hit with their 1964 song GTO reaching #4 on the charts. Pontiac had an even bigger hit with their 1964 GTO, widely regarded as the first muscle car starting a decade of high performance in America.
This 1964 GTO is still owned by the original owner and is in excellent condition for its age. Converted to b&w. Best seen enlarged.
I'm having computer issues and am trying to fix things, but if you don't see me posting tomorrow, you'll know why.
