Back to my NYC study. After leaving Rockefeller Center, I walked to Grand Central Terminal. Always busy and full of human activity, I captured some motion blur here to emphasize all the scurrying around that takes place in the iconic Main Concourse (1/4 sec. shutter speed handheld was a challenge). A lot of people pass through this place every day!
Best viewed large to see the detail - I like the way the woman with her purse is illuminated by the sunlight pouring in from the center window.
Most definitely extra special viewed large. I love the bustling motion captured in this shot and thanks for pointing out the sunlight on the lady with the large purse. Super cool!
I was looking forward to this one, and it was well worth waiting for. Fav. Hard to believe it came close to being demolished a few decades ago. This brings back a lot of memories.
