Soho Cobblestone

There was a time when all of New York City's streets were cobblestone. Of course, that time has long gone by. However, some of the original cobblestone remains in Soho. It is kinda cool walking on these streets and wondering if the patriots walked on these same stones. Best viewed large.

great texture, pattern and contrasts. I haven't seen this kind of cobblestone before. My hometown in Austria has them but they are square and sort of rounded on top.
