I walked the car show with a fellow car enthusiast. When we arrived at this 80 year old Morgan Super Sport, we examined its cockpit intensely and decided that neither one of us could drive this vehicle without instructions on how to operate it! I (correctly) guessed that the throttle is controlled by one of the three hand controls on the steering wheel. There are only two foot pedals - one for the clutch, the other for one set of brakes. Two levers coming out of the floor are for shifting and the other set of brakes. We never determined what the other two hand controls on the steering wheel are for, but guessed one is for spark advance. We would need to know what these other two levers do before taking this Morgan for a spin! Part car/part motorcycle, the 1932 Morgan Super Sport is a 3 wheeler with a V-twin J.A.P. motorcycle engine!
Excellent Danny, what a lovely vehicle to own... to drive, I'm not so sure! The other two levers are ignition advance/retard and carburettor mixture control... these two interact to some degree.
My Grandpa used to collect classic car steering wheels. He had quite a collection hanging in his den. He pasted away, but I believe they are still there at my Grandma's house. Neat photo.
