Joe Taranto Seafood by soboy5

Joe Taranto Seafood

Just down the road from Boss Oyster (and located on prime downtown waterfront property) is Joe Taranto's place. It looked closed and further research indicated I was right - they shut their doors 15 years ago! Time has not been kind to this stucco building, which once housed a thriving seafood operation. Looks nice on black.

Indeed time hasn't been kind to it, but it has made a fantastic subject for you Danny! Just love all that peeling paint and the decaying wood! A good find! Fav!

Love the grittiness here.

Fav. You did well in catching the severe neglect over the years. So sad to see once popular places go to pot. Looks great on black!

Great shot Danny...

It looks so run down. Which makes for a great photo but maybe not for great business. But it's nice to see somewhere not overdeveloped for a change.

@fueast I thought this business looked quite a bit shabbier than the others, too. It wasn't till later that I found out it has been closed for 15 years - lol!
