1976 BMW 2002

BMW invented the sports sedan with its iconic 2002, sold from 1968 - 1976. Before the 2002, one had to drive a sports car to have great handling and a sedan for practicality. The 2002 combined the best features of both cars. It was a practical sedan that was fun to drive with great cornering. I have driven a 2002 and it is a blast to drive. Here is the original Car and Driver road test from 1968: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/1968-bmw-2002-review

This completes my car show series. It was a pleasure sharing these iconic vehicles with you.

Such an icon, love the BMWs - or Bayerische Motoren Werke as my late father-in-law always called them. Super editing again, Danny, and a super series, real pleasure to look at and read. Thank you.
