It took me over a decade to get emotionally prepared to visit the 9/11 Memorial. It is a very somber and respectful reminder of the loss of 3000 innocent lives that day, as well as the inhumanity that exists in this world. I highly recommend that everyone who visits NYC comes here to pay their respects. Perhaps one day humans will stop killing each other.
