My girlfriend and I attended a friend's wedding in Sarasota, Florida over Memorial Day weekend. While I did not have time for photography, I did have my iphone with me and captured this gorgeous sunset at the wedding. It was an elegant affair, held outside on the grounds of the Powel Crosley Estate, right on the Sarasota Bay. I hope everyone is doing well, my golf game is improving and I have not picked up the Nikon in months. Just wanted to stop in and say hi!
Sarasota is such a beautiful place. My brother in law got married there, too. You missing photography? Me, I do it in spurts. Days without, sometime weeks and then a bunch at once.
@alophoto The barrier islands are gorgeous, we spent time on Lido and Siesta Key on this trip. Not missing it at all, but hoping to get my photo mojo back eventually. I think I need to change careers, stop being a lawyer and become a full time nature photographer. That would get my photo mojo back!
@alophoto I'm pretty burnt out from practicing law, been doing this gig for 33 years. Thinking seriously of selling the house and all my possessions, buying an RV and travelling North America, photographing every National park extensively. Then doing a book.
