ANZAC Day by spanishliz

ANZAC Day

The day takes its name and date from events in 1915 at Gallipoli, but also remembers the courage and contributions of those Australians and New Zealanders who fought and died on the Western Front, like Cpl Kavanagh who is buried on the Somme. Photo was taken in 1986 when I visited the battlefields.
