A quantum of solace

Photo opportunities have been few today. I spotted this chap having a quiet moment. Again tried some other editing effects. Tried to make this appear vintage. I find that once I start to tweak images it is hard to know when to stop.
Pretty cool, I like this!

you've got the etsooi bug!

@kali66 I know, it is quite alarming. Thankfully I have not taken a decent (planned) photo recently so am not too precious about mucking about with the editing.

Love this and a fav! Great composition and looks awesome in b&w and I love the processing and I have the same problem as you too with knowing when to stop processing lol...

Love your b&ws!

@clarita_71 Thank you Claire. I just down loaded Aperture and am having a go with the Nik software. Getting rather geeky at the moment.

@otter he is on steps right at the waters edge. I was above him so the perspective made it look like he was almost on the water. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment.

lovely shot! I so totally agree with you as it is my weakness...once you start tweaking and playing around with a shot...it's hard to know when to stop...and most of the time I end up going to what I started with! :)

It works though, keep up the editing. the focus is just spot on too
January 12th, 2014
Great focus. I like the processing too. Your processing technique sounds very like mine.
