Spanner, this is just terrific. You absolutely accomplished what you set out to do. Thank also for posting the link which I enjoyed looking through as well.
Fav. Just love this. Fantastic portrait and processing clearly inspired by the original. What software do you use to process? As part of my get-pushed challenge this week I'm trying out something called exposure 5 and it allows you to replicate the look of lots of different types of film. Would work well for this sort of shot.
@rachelwithey hello Rachel. I used Aperture and nik software (which is great although I am very new to it). I will have a look at exposure 5. Have you tried snapseed?
@pflaume hanks Lisa. This is actually a copy of a picture from the day before which is better in my opinion. However I am trying to avoid fillers so did a new version. I am tempted to become an Ace member just to post that one image.
Love snapseed. Tempted to by nik software. Love the black and white images people on here process with it. I've just taken a photo of my daughter after looking at this one. Will tag you when I load it.
@rachelwithey cool. I am glad I treated myself to the nik software. Vivaza and the colour Efex program are really good as well (included in the bundle). Looking forward to your shot.
