Hill Top

Girl was watching her brother play cricket. I have three versions of this shot and am undecided which I like the best. One of the reasons I got ace membership is so that I can post all of them at once and bore you silly. If you have a preference it would be great to know.
this one too has some drama of course with the light rays and colour scheme, but I especially like her pose, it conveys a little of imagined inner thoughts

a very different feel from #3, in some positive ways, but in a few ways, compositionally or otherwise, that leave me preferring the other one. the colors, and rays from the blown out sky, resonate, as does her silhouetted pose and the drawing up of the ground into the focal point. i guess i just feel #3 was more unique and well-crafted for its image archetype. im glad you like to share alternate shots and perspectives, this is anthropologically and professionally interesting.

@ubiquitybutsomewhatdownsized Thank you. I agree. I prefer the other shot to this one. What I am pleased about is the fact that I am seeing the opportunity for these shots now and in some respects achieving what I intended. This is an unusual but rewarding feeling for me. The positive feedback makes the experience even richer.

@spanner thats great to hear. i feel like that internal progress is what makes someone a photographer instead of just someone with a camera...perfecting the soul-connection.
