GI 2017

This is just an idea that came to me as I am having a very dry spell with regards to creativity. I have just acquired a Lomo LC-A (an original not the remake). I also have a few rolls of expired film so didn't mind experimenting. Not having much time I thought I would spend the 60 minutes I had between dropping children off at various sports training to capture a winters evening artificial light. The limitations of a wonky point and shoot film camera (no chimping) and very short time appealed. In no way do I think these are Art, just an interesting exercise. Go on I dare you to give it a go. These are my results.
I actually quite like what you’ve come up with here.... I get the limitations you are placing yourself under, but regardless - you have an eye for composition and this came out great!

A couple questions if I may? Are you developing and scanning your own film or getting it done for you? Last I used film I was not happy with the quality of the scan... and second - do you do any digital post processing? Just curious 🙂

@northy hello Northy. Thank you for the kind comments. As for scanning - I have a scanner but it is not great for 35mm. It is excellent for 120mm. I sometimes use my digital camera to scan 35mm with. It is much better than my scanner. As a result I have to process to get the images. I do process a little sometimes but generally it is just a tweak. I like the film look.
I pretty much never edit the 120mm. I figured using expired film and just experimenting there is little need to process. This set of images were scanned with my scanner. Ramble ramble.
