Watching the world

It has been a huge year for Girl. Covid has ruined her final year in school interrupting her education/exams/social events, and now there are implications with her University course. She has been amazingly resilient and I am very proud of her. This is just a little down time while she takes a breath.
such a bummer for the young ones, my son pulled out of uni last year, couldnt handle the online learning, he is a people person and found it hard in his flat on his own for 6 weeks , thank goodness our lockdowns havent been as stringent and lengthy as other places.

@kali66 it has been really tough for the students. So many everyday things ruined. I just hope things improve for all sooner rather than later.

Well, i think young people are very adaptable, provided they are healthy. I have my own example in my household and i am amazed how powerful they are. Of course, they have found a group with similar interests and they connect on daily basis online and when rules allow they meet in person. They are strong. And i like to learn from them.
I'm not saying it's easy. Because sometimes it's not. I'm just saying it's not impossible.

A difficult time when they may think that their hopes and dreams are shattered. Her resilience will see her through.
You captured her beautifully.

My heart goes out to all students no matter what age for having their educations drastically interrupted. Wonderful, thoughtful portrait shot

@brigette he is doing a mechanics course this year , a burgeoning interest in cars , should be interesting for him, though to future proof i think he should look into electric cars rather than being a petrol head!
