Case Mazzanti - part 4 of 5

This is the week of Case Mazzanti a five day project inside the 365 project. I took some photos of an ancient building in Verona, I made a panorama and then I sliced it into five pieces. I did this because otherwise the whole panorama would be too wide to fit in the website and all the details would be lost.

In 1200 the Case Mazzanti belonged to the Scala family, the powerful dynasty of Verona. In 1500, during the brief Austrian rule, the houses passed ownership to the Gonzaga family. In 1527, however, Giovanni Gonzaga sold them to the Mazzanti family, from which the same building has also been named. It was during this period that the new owners asked to Alberto Cavalli to paint the facades of the building. On already painted walls the painter added the Allegory of Ignorance, of Prudence and Envy; and then also the Struggle between the Giants and of Providence.
Beautifully composed balcony shot!
