The wall of memory

The names on the wall are people dead in wars of the last century. In this shot there is only a little part of the wall. Too many names, too many.

The camel in the foreground is a prop from an old performance of the Opera Aida in the Arena of Verona. I'm not sure why they put this prop here.

Perhaps the camel was placed there to bring attention to this extremely important memorial? Might an elephant be better?
