Monday was a bank holiday so we decided to head off to the south coast and visit Hastings, where Stacey spent many years as a child, visiting her grandparents who had a house right in the old town.
We went past the house to have a look at it, had a fish and chips lunch at the same place they used to, went up the East Hill lift, had ice cream on the cliff top, took in some of the street party left over from the Jack In The Green pagan festival which had taken place earlier in the day, and even had time to play miniature golf before heading home. A great day, with the sun shining.
Whilst walking round the town near her grandparents old house, I saw this lovely cat napping at number 1770. As soon as I saw it, I thought of a generic tourist shot that you might see in a catalogue, so tried to frame it in a way that gave you that feel.
