This unique vantage point of the crowd at the Lords cricket ground in London is from the TV studio I was working in for the final day of the England v Australia international matches. I used the X100 so I was fixed at 35mm. Had I used my X20 or my 7D then I would've zoomed in for a little more detail - there's quite a lot going on in there if you can look in tighter. I still like it though.
@seanoneill Excellent!!!!
Are you able to count me in to where you are? Rows up and down? If the guy in red wearing 11 is in the 7th row from the top, where are you?
I can email you the pic if you like and then you can send it to your pals...feel free to politely decline :)
@stevecameras I'm the row behind him 3rd seat from the aisle, wearing a blue top. My oldest son is 3 seats along from me and my youngest son is one seat diagonally left in front of him. We go all the way along to the 2 bald guys on my row, and have all the row in front of each of us as well. My wife had probably gone for a wander to the Lord's Museum. Thanks for definitive proof that I don't have a bald spot!! I would love you to email the pic please, my group would love it, well those who aren't follicly challenged! You can send it to seans365@hotmail.co.uk
@seanoneill I see you. And you your Nikon. Did your wife have a big pack lunch for you all? I think I remember looking down at someone handing out rolls. Looked good! I'll email it now!
@seanoneill@stevecameras What a brilliant coincident, I have no idea why but it makes me happier that it happened. PS great shot steve, I really love this kind of shot from a high vantage point
