A rather rushed attempt at a photo today due to the fact that when I finished work this evening it was absolutely chucking it down with rain. It always rains in Manchester*.
So while walking back to my hotel, I noticed the rather bright but incomplete sign for the Hotel Britannia, where I have stayed many times when working here previously.
Is this the one on Portland Street? I remember once buying a really cheap room one night, and it was essentially a cupboard. No window, but a fake skyline photograph surrounded by curtains :P
