Another light trail shot from the westbound platform of the East India DLR station, looking toward the Canary Wharf towers.
I met up with a friend who brought a very high-powered video camera and a tripod and we got told off by the DLR staff on the trains, or the tripod police as we thought...!
I am aware of the general rule of tripods, and I am a law abiding and respecting son of a retired policeman but one of the drivers actually said we were, and I quote:
"...committing terrorism".
Because of the tripods.
Mental.
So I switched to my Joby Gorillapod and my pal just rested his camera on the wall and we got our shots...!
Well when my son was in the cubs they were sent on a photo treasure trail - had to wander around the town taking photos of various things including a traffic warden who said they weren't allowed to take his photo under anti-terror legislation. They are pretty terrifying themselves! Anyway - fantastic movement from both directions!
