Day 080, Year 3 - Readying Richard's Reinterment

This is the Cathedral in Leicester where King Richard 3rd would be (finally) laid to rest, taken on the rig day before the first TV transmission took place the following day. In the picture you can the lighting director talking to the cathedral staff about what will be happening during the service. The pink cloth and the table underneath is where the coffin would be laid a few days later.

3 good things:

1 - Catching up with 2 freelance colleagues who I hadn't seen in a long time
2 - A good rig day getting ready for the following day's transmission - actually turned out to be a big job with 25 cameras for the coverage the next day
3 - Drinks in the hotel bar with colleagues to end the day...a good laugh had by all reminding me that I am lucky to work with a great bunch of people
An inside view for sure.....lucky to get your slant on all the inside goings on! It looks a beautiful cathedral, we went in here when we were visiting Leicester University on an Open Day.

@humphreyhippo I'm very lucky that despite the slog, long days away from home etc, that I do get to work on some very good jobs. I am covering the Boat Race and London Marathon again this month and also working on the government election debate in the middle of the month which I am very excited about. :))
