Another shot here of the Happisburgh lighthouse on the north Norfolk coast, taken while driving back home. It was a great day weather wise and although I have taken shots before of this I think I could continue to take more. It;s such a nice building to look at with the bold red and white colours, especially when the sky is as blue as this.
1 - Great journey in the car home especially when it involves a photo stop
2 - Getting clothing ordered for my work on the Rugby World Cup later this year
3 - Excellent weather for the rest of the day...makes me look forward to the summer!
@jasperc Jasper, I have used a circular polariser and they are very good for adding a bit of a colour boost to skies and water. They are designed to bend the light rays through the front element and at certain angles, such as the sun behind you, they really add blue to the sky. They can also help to see through calm water if you were to shoot a lake or a pond in the foreground of a landscape.
There is a little bit of a boost in post but a lot of this was down to a very clear day, and the polariser.
