I have been spending this week working in France for the French Open golf tournament, and staying only a few miles outside of the city of Paris. I couldn't not go in at least once and yesterday decided after work I would get onto the tram and the Metro and head to the Arc De Triomphe for a few photos. I got out at the Grand Palais on the Champs-Élysées and walk up toward the tower.
I wanted to get some light trails (what else...?!) but I also wanted some wispy clouds so I used my Lee 10 stop BigStopper ND filter to get some 3 minute exposures.
If you look closely you can see the red, white and blue colours of the French flag. Planned of course ;)
1 - Excellent day at work walking the fairways with the players with one of the remote cameras
2 - A great wander round Paris in the evening
3 - Eventually getting into my bed after a lot of walking during the day and evening
Thank you all. This trip to Paris felt like a little return to a half decent photo as work has taken over recently and the good photo ops are very seldom. I really appreciate the comments and FAV's.
