I did manage to get out for a bit this morning and went to my old haunt to look for hares.
As I was putting my boots on at the car, I heard a clatter on the road which turned out to be a pair of badgers that ran straight across the front of me. I hadn't even got my camera out so thought I'd missed my chance.
A short time later while it was almost dark, they ran across my path again. I grabbed a couple of shots before realizing my shutter speed was to slow so got blurry shots.
Now I knew I'd blown my chance but no!
One came back for a third time and although I was shooting through long grass, I did manage a half decent shot of the elusive Badger.
I consider my self most fortunate to get three chances
