This is not one of my best photos but it is one of the hardest earnt. If you knew the endless hours I've spent at Priory Park, waiting for a sighting of the Cuckoo, you would forgive me for the poor quality and share my excitement. I thought I'd missed my chance as the camera decided to play up at the first sighting this morning but I decided to wait around and was lucky enough to spot it for a second time it one day
How wonderful for you! I had a similar experience this week as I spotted my first Pied Kingfisher here at a dam. It was too far away and my zoom did not help! Maybe I should post it after all ;-)
@ludwigsdiana Thank you Diana. I believe it's not quality that makes a great photo but the content and what it means to you. I would love to see a photo of your first capture of the Pied Kingfisher.
Happy for you! Because of all of you I am trying to capture some birds myself .. with my tiny zoom lens .. it’s so much fun! I can’t get them too close but as you mentioned before , the experience counts :-)
