These old fashioned news boxes are no longer around. I had just happened upon them at a local restaurant. USA today used to be the morning news copy everyone would reach for with their morning coffee but no more. Print journalism has fallen out.
The vendors could no longer make any money and printing and paper costs for the news just made it too expensive. The technology changed and so must I. People now receive their local news mostly thru online sources and devices. I will miss the morning news copy along with my coffee.
