11.1.13 HDR trial

After seeing a discussion by Shirley (@shirljess) on HDR I decided to download a trial of Phootmatrix and have my first attempt at HDR. Quite pleased with the 1st effort and might be tempted to pay for the program! So thank you Shirley for your inspiration

Ideal subject for the HDR processing, it works really well. Beware 'tis addictive!

@judithdeacon thanks - yes I can see it's addictive - I have already played with several photos but unfortunately they have the watermark on them as it's a free trial. I am certainly thinking of buying the full programme - just have to decide on which version - any thoughts ?

This is very good Debbie. If you've got photoshop there is an easy way to do it there too? I am generally not a fan of HDR, but this works perfectly, so perfectly its a fav for me!

I use Photomatrix Pro 4.1.4 but have had it for sometime, the newer version may offer more but I'm quite satisfied with this version.

@seanoneill thanks Sean - yes I do have photoshop and I tried it with another image but didn't feel it was quite as good. I know what you mean though - sometimes the HDR looks too much but I do like the subtlety of this image.

I have photomatix essentials which is the cheaper option but I'm thinking of upgrading to pro as I think it has more options xx Perfect subject for HDR
