I took this picture of the stalks growing around the lake. It wasn't until I downloaded the pictures that I realized I had a surprise in the picture. A little Ladybug found her way into my picture. Don't Ladybugs bring good luck?
Ladybugs definitely bring good luck! ;-) I love surprises like that! Usually when I upload my photos i always discover a web, a tiny bug or a spider ;-) Lovely photo, Suzie!
Isn't it great to find something unexpected that makes your photo even better? Unfortunately I find that to be a rare occurrence (but the stray edge of my hand trying to block the sun, a little corner of building that I swore I'd framed out, etc tend to pop up more than I'd like to admit!).
To answer your question about our boat, we have a 1974 O'day 23' named Sorcerer's Apprentice. We actually sail her up on Cape Cod where we're originally from. We're on the outer Cape, and our inlet is one of the most dangerous on the east coast as the bars are constantly shifting, so we don't get out to open water nearly as often as we'd like. But we do have a beautiful cove surrounded by national seashore to sail in, so I won't complain too loudly. We're thinking of selling her this year and picking up a slightly bigger boat to keep down here somewhere on Long Island Sound. I'll be sure to post some photos as soon as we get her in the water. I could have sworn I had one or two in my flickr album, but I don't. I'll have to go fix that!
