Last night was high school graduation for my number two grandson and as I sat there watching over 700 students prepare to be "grown up now", I felt like it was just yesterday that I was the one wearing the cap and gown. How did I get this old? I don't feel old. Maybe it is all just a joke!!
You can see my grandson at the bottom of the picture in the middle. He has just thrown his cap so his head is bare....he is ready to take on the world and the rest of his life!
Sorry I am not commenting on any pictures but my son is here and we are playing too much. Off to the Swamp Gardens this morning. Have a good day everyone!
Oh Suzie, I feel your delight AND your pain! What fun to see your grandson graduating...I envy you that you've had the pleasure of his company for so many years! (I'm awaiting my first in Oct). Like you, I have no idea how the years have slipped away. Looking at the smiling couple in your profile picture, you look to young to already be concerned with the passage of time...but don't people all look younger these days than our parents and grandparents did?
I'm glad to see you're life is full at the present & you don't have as much computer time as you might like. I'm the same, but seeing you here makes me believe we can be "away" but not "forgotten"...
What a great picture! I remember my high school graduation so clearly... it sometimes feels like it was just yesterday... I was so naive and ready to take on the world. Sometimes I think it would be great to be able to go back to that clean slate, world's-wide-open state of mind where anything was possible.
I'm glad to see you're life is full at the present & you don't have as much computer time as you might like. I'm the same, but seeing you here makes me believe we can be "away" but not "forgotten"...
Have fun with your family!
