Lucky Lady and Her Ladybug

I believe that dolphins and ladybugs bring good luck. I used to see dolphins regularly when we were traveling on our sailboat - I lived a charmed life then! I recently found this ladybug, ran for the camera and have been having a wonderful life recently. Wonder why??

I love ladybugs and also believe they're good luck. They're one of the few bugs that I'll allow to crawl all over me. I have yet to see a dolphin in the wild. Hopefully someday when we start doing some bluewater sailing.

You really have had some photos that are pieces of art, Suzie! I agree with Linda! I don't think I was aware that dolphins and ladybugs were considered good luck, but I'll take it! I've had more ladybugs than dolphions in my life, but I delight in seeing either!

I just love this red ladybug against the yellow of the lantana. I plant lantana every summer because it attracts butterflies and hummingbirds -- and now I know it also attracts ladybugs.
I have this one of my "favorites".
