Honey, Honey?

They were all over the place and if they hadn't been so busy I would have been petrified. As it was I was taking a picture, stepping one foot closer and taking another picture until I got this one. I don't have a macro lens so this is as good as it gets. I have no idea what the plant is....it was all along a fence across the road from our friends in Texas.
Busy bees--this is a really pretty flower they've settled on. Great capture--even without the macro (:

I love it. So pretty! Yes, there is fuzz on the petals! The petals look almost like a succulent plant. Very good shot, Suzie!

Great capture! I took some shots of a bee yesterday and I was thinking I was crazy for getting so close, in normal circumstances I would have been many feet away never that close!!

I'm not a big fan of bees either, so I feel your pain! Good job getting close enough for this shot.... it came out beautifully!

The flower and the bee. nice,Its great to go to visit other places and get to know ways, their flowers, their fav. meals ...i could go on and on.yes, i love traveling.

This is Texas sage (Purple sage). I love this plant when it's in bloom!
