It's lowest elevation is 124 feet at Bear Mountain, New York and it's highest elevation is 6,625 feet at Clingmans Dome in Tennessee.
No, we didn't hike it but we would like to have! Old knees and feet prevent it! But we did hike a lot of the Pacific Crest Trail in California back in the old days!!
What a gorgeous shot! You did a great job of capturing the beauty of the trail. I've hiked part of the trail at Bear Mountain! We didn't go very far, though.
Beautiful shot!! And I like the frame. Bill Bryson did write the FUNNIEST book about hiking the AT. We've hiked part of it where it merges with Mt Greylock in Massachusetts. Where is this part of the trail?
This is beautiful, what a walk that would be..amazing!
