Dinner

I wish you could smell this too! I am making Pork Curry a la Suzie. I have always just made it up as I go and it is so good over basmati rice! Tonight's curry has pork, garlic, ginger, jalapeno, yellow squash and mango. Oh, and lots and lots of spice.

Update - over 4 hours later, it does not resemble this photo. It is all kind of mushy rusty brown and smells so good. I have added just a few green peas and the rice is cooking.
Looks delicious, Suzie.

Yes that sounds really good, bet it was very tasty. I never liked spicy food, but got used to it now. I slaved over the stove for the longest time today. Hans and I cook in big quantities and freeze portions. I sauteed swiss chard with fried bacon and spices, added home made tomato sauce and white and brown kidney beans and simmered for quite a while until the chard was nice and tender.

Those are my kind of flavours too. After living in Asia for 10 years and visiting Mexico a few times, we love it spicy 😉
