I have lots of pictures of "Auriga", our friends boat! This was taken on Antipoison Creek on the Chesapeake Bay. It was hard getting back in there as it was a crooked channel of very shallow water. We only touched bottom a couple of times! But once we were in there it was so peaceful and lovely. The sunset was to die for but my camera did not do it justice!
Gorgeous reflection! It's always a little hairy when you feel that brush with the bottom. We went aground (fortunately at dead low) right in the middle of the channel in Chatham. Apparently headed to sea, you have to start over at the green, cut diagonally across the channel from there to the red, and then cut back into the channel. I guess that's why the nautical charts all read "CAUTION: The channel is subject to continual change. Do not use without local knowledge."
i have been to Chesapeake Bay and know how beautiful it's there.
would love to be able to experience all your travels and y looking at your great pictures and reading about the areas you travel through i feel like i'm there with you.
