Finally we made it to Charleston and this is the view that greeted us. 9 months later we would make the decision to settle in this fair city. I have never tired of the views of this bridge!
The bridge replaced two older bridges and it is ten time more beautiful than the others combined. It is truly a work of art as well as being one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the world.
Every single time I go over this bridge, I start to have a panic attack and my feet start breaking out into a sweat. Honestly, it's hilarious. So now we have to take I-26 in so we can avoid that bridge, lol. But I do love photographing it and I love Charleston more than any city in the US! Yay South Carolina! :-)
