Florida has a little of everything on the water! I don't know what these "structures" were doing there, maybe they washed there in a flood/hurricane, maybe they had been there for years and are just neglected but they were pretty amazing to see. After all the beauty of the area - there they sit!
Florida is strange like that! Those places remind me of a couple restaurants we ate at in the Keys (although the restaurants were in slightly better shape). The food ended up being really good, but they were places I never would have stopped had they not been recommended by a local. (Incidentally, it was my sailing instructor who recommended them. I took the basic US Sailing Certification course out of Duck Key, joined by my ever-patient husband who probably could have taught the course.)
