@aglennc Thanks for the comment and the fav, Anita. Yes, it is Safari Park. I knew you were nearby, but the original plan was to just go to the Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns show, which is being held in the parking lot at night. Joy and I were making the trek there, but then it turned into an all-day visit to the park itself during the day at the last minute. We really should have advised you and tried to get hold, but I hate it when I get last minute requests. Figured you did too. Sorry! We'll make a day of it together soon it looks like, though, and I'll buy the beer!
@lyndemc Thanks so much Denise! I tried to sneak him into the car and take him home, but they got a little suspicious when I showed up with a 20 foot pet carrier. Turns out they don't take kindly to lending out the residents.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel - yeah, looking straight at me - the way my teachers used to when I got a little out of line at school. It was lunchtime as a matter of fact.
@summerfield I think that's his happy look, Vikki! There were a ton of screaming kids around and it didn't seem to bother him one bit. Bothered me, of course, but not him. I was lucky to get a shot through the glass that didn't have little tiny greasy handprints all over the place. They have two full time workers whose entire duties it seems is to clean the windows and clean them again - just like painting the Golden Gate Bridge. :-(
@stray_shooter We don't hate last minute calls!!! Next time. Let's wait till Louise and Ken return @wezilou. I can just see her at Safari Park...... ......
