my dog, whose image i use as 'me' insisted on looking through my bags and would choose which item to carry home.. not trained to do it, just naturally helpful..
i greatly admire Service dogs - but also their trainers who devote themselves to this work..
The best camera you can use, is the one you have with you. My photo teacher told me that and like the good girl scout that I am, the iphone will do well in many situations.
@joysfocus Agreed Joy. The cameras in the new phones are so good it's a little bit scary. I saw in an article on Fstoppers that it's estimated that 3.5 trillion photos have been taken throughout history, and it's expected that 1.2 trillion will be taken in 2017 alone. That's just crazy.
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. Along with other useless facts (as I related to Joy above) is the amazing fact that thanks to the advent of digital cameras and camera phones, more photos are taken in two minutes today than were taken in all of the 1800's!!
@dianen Thanks Diane - I genuinely do hate it when I don't have my camera in hand - because I'm always afraid I'll miss something like this! For a number of reasons I actually have two smart phones, both of which have amazingly good cameras.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian - a moment of panic actually as I was fumbling for the phone. Luckily his owner was taking her time paying. Gave me the chance to zap off a couple of shots.
@cjphoto He really was patient, Chris. His owner was taking her time paying and he just stood there with the bag in his mouth until it was time to leave. Great doggy!
@tigerdreamer Ha, yeah, we all know it as the Del Mar fair. Oddly enough, I was just taking the first of two iPhone photography classes tonight. I discovered all kinds of interesting things about cell phone photography that I did not know previously. May just have to submit a few entries!
@tigerdreamer Some of the apps that can really enhance iPhone photos can really do a great job. One called Pro HDR X really does a nice job! One more class this Thursday and I'll be even more enlightened. ;-)
