Combining objectives the Friday. Of course Fridays are for flamingos, but my get-pushed challenge, courtesy of kali (@kali66) was to photograph an interesting reflection in polished chrome. So I decided to combine the two. The polished chrome is, of course, the tank console on the gas tank of my Harley.
That is one well-polished Harley. Not a finger print on it anywhere. There may be a flamingo beak mark on it now tho. The initial response at seeing this pic was a giant laugh! I love your flamingo buddy.
As I am your Get Pushed partner what do you feel about light trails for your challenge. I hope you can return the favour by challenging me to something.
@la_photographic So we get paired up once again for get-pushed 236! OK, I'm ready to take on light trails. This should be interesting! I see you are taking on the 100 strangers challenge. Great challenge - I've been working my way through that for a while now. So let's combine things a bit and add something. How about a black and white portrait of someone with their pet? I think you should have fun with that. Good luck!
I totally recognize the flamingo's love-struck eyes as those of my cat when he climbs on my lap and buries his face in my sweater! I'm not shy ...my vote goes to your chrome-reflected flamingo!
@stray_shooter I will do my best - hopefully I will find someone with a pet although I think maybe wait until Wednesday when I will be starting the Flash of Red project.
@pcoulson Ha, yes, I made sure to remove all finger marks, dirt, and grime before taking the photo. I had been riding in the rain a few days previous to this so the entire bike was covered with a layer of grime. The photo session helped motivate me to clean her up! Thanks for the kind comments Peter.
@lyndemc Thanks Denise. As I stated to Peter above, there was plenty of unappealing marks on the whole bike prior to taking the photo. I would have been thrown out of the biker community had I allowed it to be photographed with dirt on it - beak marks notwithstanding.
@Weezilou Oh, he's "my cat" now?!? ;-) I'm sure he'd gaze at his reflection in a similar way - but no way in hell do I allow any kitties in that location!
